Apprentice Instructor
Schoeller Bleckmann Edelstahlrohr
The Transition
After years as a repair mechanic, I transitioned into a pedagogical role within the same company. My focus shifted from maintaining the machines to teaching the next generation of engineers how to build, maintain, and troubleshoot them. This role allowed me to translate technical expertise into structured learning, bridging the gap between theory and practical workshop application.
Curriculum & Mentorship
I was responsible for training apprentices in mechatronics and machine building. The curriculum covered everything from basic manual techniques to complex automated systems. Beyond technical skills, I focused on developing the problem-solving mindset required in a high-stakes industrial environment, ensuring each apprentice was prepared for the realities of the production floor.
